Cliffhanger/B,A

True to its name, Cliffhanger provides a thrill a minute as a nasty group of
hijackers kidnap a mountain rescue team to lead them to their illegal booty. There's
plenty of great icy mountain climbing footage, a cave or two, explosions aplenty, some
intricate air maneuvers and Sylvester Stallone as the lean and mean hero.

Along with
Stallone, John Lithgow has fun playing brilliant borderline psychopath. Ralph Wait as the
helicopter pilot seems to have the strangest smile smile affixed to his face.
This is a beautiful DVD, delivered Anamorphic with astounding
clarity. Colors and details attack the senses. The Dolby 5:1 sound is consistently
penetrating. Bass laden explosions are compact yet powerful. Don't miss Cliffhanger
everything you might ask for in a "B" movie with "A" production
values.
