Right smack dab in the middle of this Triad flick, a montage segment inserted that plays
like a music video that might have been called "Triad's Rising Star." It even reminded me
of some sections of Evita. Though well done, it saps the energy from "Tiger," and is
indicative of a certain lack of direction which plagues the film.
Don't expect too much from this Hong Kong
transfer. It's adequate in sharpness, though several scenes are less than optimal and colors are
not tightly focused. |
